- Mention any urgency in the third paragraph. In this paragraph, mention if there is any urgency involved in your request. For example, if you need an answer by a specific date or if you need the thing, you are requesting as soon as possible.
- Summarize your request in the fourth paragraph- summarize what you request from the person or organization.
- End with a courteous closing such as “sincerely,” “thank you,” or “regards.”
- Include your signature at the end, followed by your printed Name and contact information, such as your phone number and email address.
